Health Promotion Solutions has recently been named as a consultant for Building Healthier Communities (BHC USA™) – a national non-profit organization which supports community prevention models, academics, non-profit healthcare, and government organizations that have a focus in improving the health of all citizens. BHC USA™ develops systematic public, private and government resources to support local initiatives in conjunction with those community stakeholders.

Building Healthier Communities is an initiative that began in Chicago from a collaboration project among the American Medical Association, Chicago Department of Public Health, and the Office of the Regional Health Administrator of the Department of Health and Human Services. Health Promotion Solutions will be attending the Medical Fitness Association Regional Meetings!

Health Promotion Solutions will be exhibiting at the four regional meetings held by the Medical Fitness Association – the only association for facilities and professionals dedicated to the medical fitness difference and integrated care as the prescription for better health. The MFA Regional Meetings provide valuable networking and information opportunities for medical fitness centers.

Medically integrated health and fitness centers are defining the future of professionally administered programs and services to an aging population, and are improving outcomes for clients and patients with chronic diseases and multiple risk factors. These centers have proven they can provide a continuum of care, fulfill the mission of their sponsoring institution and be financially viable in a variety of communities.

At the meetings, we will be exhibiting health promotion products and services and offering a FREE health screening demonstration for the MFA members at these conferences.

Health Promotion Solutions Presenting at "Eat Well, Live Well, Move More"!

Health Promotion Solutions has been invited to attend and present at the Building a Healthier Chicago annual conference, Eat Well, Live Well, Move More, April 7-8, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. The conference, in its second year, is aiming to improve health while transforming communities. Topics of discussion will include how to incorporate healthier practices in the community – specifically in schools, worksites, food and physical activity environments, and of course, the community as a whole. Our poster session will be entitled "Evidence-based weight management solutions for employers."
